Navy Week in the East BankEst Bank District & Plaza The U.S. Navy is preparing to bring Navy Week back to Shreveport and Bossier City, Mar. 20-26, with Sailors from across the fleet set to take part in the service’s signature outreach program.
The Navy is returning to Shreveport and Bossier City for the first time since 2018, and this year’s programing will include multiple events across the SBC area. In the East Bank District, on March 25th, the United States Navy Band's Southeast Ensemble will be Performing Live in the East Bank Plaza! There will be Food Trucks, Family Fun, and, of course, Live Music with Performances and Masterclasses by Navy Musicians!

GloryFest '23Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4588 The Cuddy Family Foundation for Veterans, in association with The Little Shop of Music, is proud to present GloryFest '23 at VFW Post 4588 in Bossier City on Friday 4/21/23. Doors open at 5PM and admission is free.
This benefit concert is sponsored by Red River Range, Cross Country Equity, and Parker's Lawn Care.
And we are pleased to announce local band Star Chamber as our headlining act!
Returning bands from GloryFest '22 include Soul Grooves Live, Victory Position, and Anna Lee's Revolver.
We will also be presenting The William J. Goff Veteran Legend Award to US Army veteran Kenneth R. Epperson, Sr.?
And there is going to be a social media contest for all attendees with great prizes: a one-year membership to Red River Range, six personal training sessions with USMC veteran Asya Hutto, and original artwork from J. Ben Moss and Alex Richardson.

Scooter Baby Ministries CRAFT FAIR!Western Hills Baptist Church 4153 Pines Rd. Shreveport, La Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 9 am until 3:30 pm.
We raise money to buy baby dolls that we give FREE to Alzheimer and Dementia patients in or out of nursing facilities.It helps the patients, families, caregivers and nursing staff. Help us to Help them!
Cost is $6 per carload! Each person gets 1 free door prize ticket and you can purchase during the event. We ALWAYS have LOTS of GREAT door prizes!
Your children can come into the Church Library where they can make their own crafts and go play games down the hall. Adult supervised, indoors while you shop! When you finish shopping come inside and play some games with your children and/or make your own crafts, too, FREE! Take home whatever you craft!

CPC: Hero's WalkWalker Place Park in Bossier Care Pregnancy Center's annual walk, "Heroes Walk for Life", is quickly approaching. This year, it will be at Walker Place Park on April 22nd. Registration begins at 5:45 pm and the walk begins at 6:00 pm. This will be a family friendly event with food trucks, hero masks for the kids, and more. Don't forget to bring your cape!
